NanoPow AS was established in Oslo in 2016. The company is based on 20 years of research and experience. We have developed an innovative and proprietary process to produce the next generation silicon nano-powder. Our technology enables us to produce high quality crystalline silicon nano-powder at lower process costs compared to conventional methods. The innovation secures high-quality, low-cost silicon nano-powder supply available to support state of the art technologies.

Value proposition for silicon nano powder

Among the possible anode materials in Li-Ion battery, silicon is the most attractive material from the point of electric potential value and specific capacity. NanoPow’s low-cost Crystalline silicon nano-powder production will naturally attract high-tech industries, especially in energy related fields. Li-ion accumulation capacity of crystalline silicon is 10 times larger than graphite. NanoPow’s crystalline nano silicon is much more conductive and has dense structure, and shows higher performance in anode application, compared to other silicon related nano sized materials.
